The new Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act
Announcement ⚠️👉According to the government's adjustment of the "Penalty Regulations" announced, Chailease Auto Rental will transfer the fine to the lessee. ⛔Notes :📌 Foreign lessees must fill in the exact "Foreign address" or "Domestic address" in English when they pick up the car at the location in order to transfer the responsibility to the actual driver.
📌 If a fine with demerit points is paid without going through the transfer of penalties process, and the fine is directly paid without contesting the violation, the penalty points for the license plate will be recorded. If the number of recorded instances reaches three within a year, the license will be suspended for two months. During the suspension period, the lessee should continue to pay the rent and bear the business losses.
